Frequently Asked Questions
How do I use my school reward dollars?
To purchase using your School Reward Dollars, simply add products to your cart. In your cart there is a slider to assist in allocating the School Reward Dollars to your purchase. It’s that simple!
Instead of donating to a school can I receive the rebate as a discount?
No, Schools Direct is designed to assist and support schools so that every purchase must rebate directly back to a school.
Can rebates be split amongst more than one school?
Yes, when checking out a purchase the last step is the school selection. More than one school can be selected.
Does the school know who has provided these rebates?
Yes, the schools receive information detailing who their supporters are. This allows schools to directly communicate to members of their school community if they choose to.
What if a school does not use their rebates?
If a school does not use their School Rewards Dollars within 12 months of earning them, then we allocate them to the Community Fund. From the Community Fund, schools across Australia can be allocated School Reward Dollars.
I can’t find my school?
If you are looking to make a purchase now, then you can select the school called ‘Schools Direct Community Fund’ and we allocate the rewards to schools on your behalf. Simply search for Direct in the school search box. Alternatively, contact us and let us know which school you would like us to add.
What schools are eligible for Schools Direct?
All early childhood, primary and secondary schools are eligible, whether they are government or non-government.
What is the Community Fund?
The Community Fund is the default school used when a customer does not have a school to donate their School Rewards Dollars to or their school is not in our database. At the end of each year, the Schools Rewards Dollars accumulated in Community Fund will be distributed to schools that apply for special allocations of School Reward Dollars. Details of allocations will be published here.
